20.06.2022On the 20th May, we held yet another successful free training for social workers "Professional criteria and guidelines for supporting young people with different sexual orientation and gender identity" - this time in Vratsa.
During the training, we welcomed nearly 20 professionals in the field of social services. The theoretical training touched upon key issues related to the specifics of working with LGBTI youth and allowed to discuss a variety of cases related to the topic.
We are grateful for the expertise of Anna Zhukivskaya, psychologist and coordinator of our Psychological Support Programme, as well as the active participation of the attendees.
-----The training is part of the three-year project "Empowering young LGBTI people through access to services, motivation and focused policy change", which is implemented with financial support provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism. The main goal of the project is to support and empower young LGBTI people and the professionals working with them.
