Training on “Professional criteria and guidelines for support of young people with different sexual orientation and gender identity” in Vratsa

On 6 June we visited Veliko Tarnovo to conduct our free training for social workers "Professional criteria and guidelines for supporting young people with different sexual orientation and gender identity".
The training attracted almost 20 professionals from various fields - social workers, psychologists, teachers. We were joined by Ivanina Ancheva, psychologist from the network of the Single Step Foundation in Veliko Tarnovo. During the training, detailed guidelines for supporting LGBTI youth were given and many cases from the professional practice of the attendees were discussed.
We are grateful for the expertise of Anna Zhukivskaya, psychologist and coordinator of our "Psychological Support" program, as well as for the active participation of all guests at the training.
The training is part of the three-year project "Empowering young LGBTI people through access to services, motivation and focused policy change", which is implemented with financial support from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism. The main objective of the project is to support and empower young LGBTI people and professionals working with them.
