We are delighted to announce that Female Ambassadors and civil society organisations in Bulgaria have united in honour of International Women’s Day 2019, and are giving girls the chance to be an ‘Ambassador for a Day’ for a second year in a row. Nikoleta Gabrovska, the executive director of Single Step was selected as one of the civil society organisations representative.
The theme for next year’s competition is the power of the individual to make a positive change in society. We aim to encourage and empower girls from across Bulgaria to add their voices and perspectives to societal issues that affect us all. The second objective is to draw inspiration from female leaders and individuals across society who are doing just that. To enter the competition, fill out our application form in Bulgarian or English.
