We present to you our next CampOUT mentor:
Borche Ristovski is one of the most interesting multifaceted young artists.
He is part of the creative tandem behind one of the most popular Bulgarian brands - Beyond. He has created dresses for Galena, Nikol Stankulova and even for world stars such as Sofia Vergara and Demi Lovato.
What remains largely hidden from the public is that in his free time he continues to create, but in a different direction. He creates paintings and sculptures, which he makes in pop art style. They feature iconic works of art, contrasting with religious, cultural and pop-cultural symbols, commenting on consumerism and the pop bubble of the situation in which we live.
Borche Ristovski has an eye for detail and a sense of the impactful.
I think the only thing that matters when you look at a work of art is the emotion it brings to you.
CampOUT 2020 is part of the three-year project "Empowering young LGBTI people through access to services, motivation and focused policy change", implemented with financial support, provided by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism. The main objective of the project is to support and empower young LGBTI people and the professionals supporting them.
