Single Step Finishes on the Podium in The Change Competition

The fourth edition of the Change - the biggest social responsibility initiative of Nova Broadcasting Group, implemented in partnership with the Reach for Change Bulgaria foundation, wrapped up with the award ceremony on February 22nd.

Finishing among the top three finalists and winning a 15,000 leva award is an amazing success for us which proves that the need for support for LGBTI youth and their families is clear, tangible and that more and more people and organizations are standing behind it.

The three finalists in the fourth edition of the competition were chosen among 204 projects after eight selection rounds. In the penultimate round, the online voting that took place between January 16 - February 5, the public had the chance to support its favorite project between the five finalists – Ole Male, Margaritka, Life by the Kilo, Single Step and MindHub.

This was a truly international effort which showed the amazing power of our community. We could not have made it without the passion and commitment of each one of so many people and organizations that helped us. We would like to sincerely thank all of them, including: All OUT, BEST Foundation, European Pride Organisers Association, Asociatia Accept, GLSEN, Grindr, IGY, ILGA-Europe, Kampania Przeciw Homofobii, LSVD Bundesverband, Open Society Foundations, Terminal 3, VAULT, Bilitis Resource Center Foundation, GLAS Foundation, Youth LGBT organization Deystvie, and the Queer Squad.
