My Story with Kosta Karakashyan
Kosta Karakashian was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. He is studying in Columbia University in New York. He's been dancing since he was five years old. He has lived in the States, Vietnam, and Japan, and today he has his first documentary movie about the persecution of people in Chechnya because of their sexual orientation.
The movie Waiting for Color was presented in a partnership with Single Step at Gallery 2.0 on January 12, 2018. Kosta became also one of our authors - you can read his blog post "We Wear All Our Experiences on Our Bodies" here.
