For the third time, Single Step foundation and The Steps partnered with the British Embassy in Sofia and the British Council to organise the annual LGBTI+ community solidarity initiative Five Films for Freedom. To mark the tenth anniversary of the festival, a free screening of three of the selected short films was held at The Steps on 20 March, opened by Ivan Dimov and Ambassador Rob Dixon.

The global initiative, under the title "Love is a human right", is dedicated to solidarity with LGBTI+ communities around the world, especially in places where freedom and equal rights are limited. Since its inception 10 years ago, the festival has reached over 23 million people from more than 200 countries.

The rest of the movies from the selection can be watched here until the end of the campaign on the 24th March.
