Teodora Milotinova

Psychologist, People Living with HIV Psychotherapeutic Group


Teodora Milotinova is a psychologist and psychotherapist with a private practice working with individuals and groups - leading training workshops, seminars and groups for personal experience based on psychodrama, sociometry, group dynamics, and role analysis.

She graduated Psychology at Sofia University "Kliment Ohridski", she has MA in Psychology of development, and she graduated New Bulgarian University with MA in Artistic Psycho-Social Practice where she connected art and social work in the space of expressive psycho-social methods for work with people and groups. She received her psychotherapeutic training from "Psychotherapy 2000", a member of the Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organizations (FEPTO).

Teodora is a member of the Society of Psychologists in Bulgaria and a member of the Bulgarian Association of Psychotherapy.

She carries out various consultative practices with communities and organizations in the sphere of education, social activities, health care; she works both with adults and children - develops methodologies for working with children and youth in schools in psychodrama modality; consults and participates in programs of the Ministry of Education and Science for integration of children with special educational needs and children with specific learning difficulties in schools, educates pedagogical staff - teachers, resource specialists, social workers; she implements supervisions and advises parents.

In the field of health care, Teodora connects a significant part of her professional experience with her work with people living with HIV in Bulgaria. In the sector of HIV treatment at the Hospital for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases "Prof. Ivan Kirov“ she has spent years consulting HIV-positive people, their partners, and families and continues today her out-of-hospital and psychotherapeutic practice.
