A special screening of the short film "Good Night, Lily" took place at The Steps on October 20, accompanied by a discussion about ageing and death with director and producer Petar Vulchev and psychoanalyst Dr. Vesela Banova.

More than 30 people joined the screening and actively participated in an emotional and intimate discussion about the film's messages, our perceptions of aging and death, and our culture's influence on these constructs. Director Peter Vulchev talked about working with famous Bulgarian actress Violeta Gindeva, the inspiration behind the film and his personal experiences on the topic of aging and death. Dr. Vesela Banova answered many questions from the audience and created a space for a fruitful and deep discussion on important topics that are often perceived as heavy and difficult to discuss.

We would like to thank director Peter Vulchev and Dr. Vesela Banova for the emotional experience.

The event is part of the three-year project "Empowering young LGBTI people through access to services, motivation and focused policy change", which is implemented with financial support from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism. The main objective of the project is to support and empower young LGBTI people and professionals working with them.
