How does our two-pronged approach to the long-term integration of LGBTI+ people in the workplace work?
- Bottom-up approach – we train LGBTI+ people on how to find and prepare for a new job and develop their career;
- Top-down approach – we work with corporate partners and clients to create and improve their diversity and inclusion programmes.
For LGBTI+ people
As part of our mission to provide specific resources for LGBTI+ people in Bulgaria, we have developed a career center for all those who are just starting their careers.
Through consultations, advice and guidance VentureOUT will help you answer many of the questions that concern young LGBTI+ people in Bulgaria:
- How do I start my career?
- Who is the right employer for me?
- How do I prepare my CV?
- How can I present my skills in the best possible way during an interview?
Since the program was launched, we have achieved an overall success rate of 82%:
- we have supported over 400 users in total, with an average of 2-3 individual meetings with each;
- 293 users have found a job;
- 34 have continued their education.
VentureOUT services are aimed at people over the age of 18 and are free of charge, with a recommended donation.
