Help mothers and fathers who encounter the notion of LGBTI people for the very first time. Help explain that being gay is not a disease.
Help prevent futile and dangerous attempts to “cure” or “convert to normal”, which, at the extreme, lead to suicide.
Extend a welcoming hand in difficult life situations both to LGBTI youth and their friends and family who feel lost.
