We give you Maria Sufieva: an artist and illustrator

She is the third artist selected to be part of #GenerationArt

Maria Sufieva started drawing in high school, but as she says, "My drawings were not very good and I never thought I had any talent in drawing" ... Well! We certainly do not think so. Several years later, in university, she accidentally discovered Adobe Illustrator and started drawing digital illustrations. The techniques and the very process of creating digital drawings increased her interest, and she decides to continue drawing, instead of studying Economics.

In the last two years at university, she studied Journalism and Mass Communication. After graduating, she started working in an advertising agency as a designer, but quickly realised this wasn't her thing.

At the moment Maria is focusing on illustrations and developing her instagram profiles - TheSadFork and BreadWithNothing as well as on hand poke tattoos.

Maria is a fan of 90's cartoons that influenced her creativity. Her inspiration also comes from other illustrators and artists as well as from everything that happens in her life and on the streets. She likes to experiment with bright colors and create new combinations that she “can do for hours."

What makes her the artist she is today, is the fact that she really loves what she does, and nothing else gives her so much pleasure.

Maria is the third participant in GenerationArt - space, opportunity and a stage to express yourself and to show your art.
