Bogomil Balkansky

Bogomil Balkansky is a Partner at Sequoia Capital, one of the world’s most renowned and respected Private Equity firms. Prior to joining Sequoia, Bogomil was Vice President at Google where he focuses on new initiatives. Before Google, Bogomil was one of the first employees of the startup bebop, which was acquired by Google at the end of 2015.

Before this entrepreneurial experience, Bogomil was Senior Vice President on the VMware executive team, from 2005 – 2013.

Prior to VMware, Bogomil worked at Siebel Systems; the CRM pioneer, and at CrossWeave, an innovative startup focused on application integration. He began his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company in Germany.

Bogomil has a BA in Mathematics from Cornell University and an MBA from Stanford. He is an avid world traveler and a chef.
