“Nothing is Empty” | Special screening and discussion

On October 19, the solo exhibition of writer, reviewer and editor Haralambi Markov "Reconcilicceptance" opened at The Steps community space. The opening attracted many guests who came to see the series of collages dedicated to the feeling of being a queer person living in a country that does not love you as such; living under the weight of the past and 'traditional Bulgarian values', and finding personal peace.
All visitors were invited to participate in the creation of a group collage to be presented at the official closing of the exhibition, and actively participated in its creation. Until 28 October, anyone can join in the creation of the group collage with materials provided on site. The presentation of the group collage will be accompanied by a reading of excerpts from the notebook, in which visitors can share impressions or their personal experiences completely anonymously.
The closing reception for the exhibition will be held on October 28 at 7:00pm in the community space of The Steps Foundation. You can find out more about the closing event on Facebook.

The event is part of the three-year project "Empowering young LGBTI people through access to services, motivation and focused policy change", which is implemented with financial support from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism.
